Frequently Asked Questions for New Customers:
Where do lessons take place?
Lessons take place at Hallam Community Hall, Fulwood.
What ages do you teach?
We have classes available for all ages. From tots who can walk all the way to adults!
What genres do you offer?
ISTD Cecchetti Ballet, Modern Theatre and Tap, Musical Theatre, Acro, Contemporary, and Commercial. More info here
Do you offer school pickup?
Yes! We offer school pickup on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for Infant and Junior pupils of Hallam Primary School - more info here.
Do you have a free trial?
Yes, we offer a 2 week long free trial, to try as many lessons as you like (age/level appropriate).
Is there a dress code?
We have a designated uniform for each genre and level. These are available to purchase through the Parent's Portal on Class Manager. For those trying out for the first time, please wear anything that is comfortable to move easily in.
I've done my free trial, how do I join?
We are so glad you enjoyed your trial! To join our school please fill out the Registration Form. Once you have done this we can add your child to the class list for your chosen genres and you will receive you invoice.
Do you have any special offers?
We have a 2-for-1 offer for Pre-shool - Y2. This means that these pupils can attend Ballet, Modern, & Tap lessons twice a week (Wednesday and Saturday) with the second set of lessons for free!
For pupils in Y3+ who attend twice a week, the second lesson of one genre is half price and the others are free.
Do you have a live pianist?
Yes, we are very lucky to currently be the first dance school in Sheffield to have a pianist in all our Ballet Lessons!
Do you do shows and events?
We do! Each year we hold Annual Shows and a Musical Theatre Production. We also hold events such as our Winter Festivities, flash mobs, and performances at the Hallam Fun Day.
Do you do exams?
Yes, we carry out exam sessions in Ballet, Modern and Tap under the ISTD exam board. Pupils are informed by their teacher when they are ready for an exam.
Do you have reward schemes?
We are a designated Children's University Learning Destination meaning pupils can earn their CU hours through us.
We also use the International Dance Rewards scheme in all our lessons up to Grade 5.
How do you keep in touch with me?
We use the BAND app as a way of communicating school announcements, events, updates and newsletters.
We also use WhatsApp, where you will be added to an year group specific chat for your child, through which you will receive year group specific information and can communicate with the principal.
Are you on social media?
We are! We use Facebook and Instagram where we regularly post updates about our school.

What is your cancellation policy?
While we hope you enjoy the lessons you take with us, should you decide that it is no longer right for you and your child, we require one term's written notice (via email) of your wish to withdraw from one or multiple classes.
